Project Overview
Kerry Foods wanted to create a workplace dining environment that better reflects how people use their breaks today.
Rather than simply refurbishing an existing canteen, the aim was to create a welcoming destination where colleagues could eat, meet, recharge and take time away from the production environment. The project also incorporated integrated vending facilities supplied by Abercromby Vending, bringing together convenience, comfort and everyday practicality within a single space.

The Brief
The existing canteen no longer supported the changing needs of the workforce.
The new environment needed to accommodate different ways people use the space throughout the day, from relaxed dining and informal meetings to quieter breakout areas. It also needed to improve operational flow, integrate vending equipment without compromising valuable kitchen space, and provide a durable interior capable of standing up to heavy daily use.
The Solution
Nebrak designed, manufactured and installed a complete workplace refreshment environment centred around flexibility, comfort and longevity.
The new layout introduced clearly defined dining and breakout zones, semi-private seating, integrated charging points and purpose-built vending areas, creating a space that feels organised, welcoming and easy to use. Refrigeration and vending equipment were carefully positioned to improve flow while freeing valuable preparation space within the kitchen.
Warm timber finishes, solid surface worktops and durable commercial furniture helped create an environment that feels contemporary while remaining practical for a busy manufacturing workplace. Coordination with Abercromby Vending ensured the refreshment facilities were seamlessly integrated into the overall design rather than appearing as standalone equipment.
Behind the Build
Every element of the project was delivered through Nebrak’s complete in-house service, from initial survey and workplace design through to manufacture, project management and installation.
Careful planning, quality materials and precision manufacturing ensured the finished environment could withstand the demands of a high-footfall workplace while providing an inviting space that employees actively want to use.
