Background
When Combat2Coffee approached Nebrak, they needed a practical, high-quality way to serve coffee and connection. Their goal was to operate within government buildings, including prisons.
Founded by ex-soldier, prison officer and firefighter Nigel Seaman, Combat2Coffee is a Community Interest Company (CIC). It was created to support veterans, ex-uniformed personnel, and their families through meaningful opportunities. The organisation’s mission is clear and powerful. It aims to improve mental health, wellbeing, and life outcomes for those who have served.
Every cup of coffee makes a difference. Each sale helps fund education, training, and outreach programmes that change lives, one sip at a time.
Moreover, Combat2Coffee proudly counts ex-footballer Terry Butcher as its Patron. This partnership further strengthens its message of community, teamwork, and resilience.
Together, these values drive Combat2Coffee’s commitment to connection, recovery, and positive change, wherever its coffee is served.
the challengE
Combat2Coffee needed a mobile coffee unit capable of moving between secure areas on site, such as prison wings and staff zones.
Furthermore, the unit had to deliver a professional coffee service within strict security protocols and timed access windows, leaving no room for inefficiency or delay.
The Solution
Nebrak designed and built a compact, mobile coffee hub that could be easily repositioned across the site when required.
To support Combat2Coffee’s expanding reach, Nebrak went further. The team developed a portfolio of flexible, high-quality coffee solutions, including both coffee towers and coffee stations. Each option was tailored to its specific setting, ensuring consistency and performance.
Every design featured vending equipment, refrigeration, and bespoke cabinetry. The team adapted these features carefully to suit the environment, customer needs, and overall offer.
Furthermore, one standout project featured a Pico Coffee machine and Pico cooler. Both were housed within a custom-built unit created for Ipswich Town Football Club’s training facilities. This installation united Combat2Coffee’s community values with Nebrak’s technical expertise, creating a strong example of design with purpose.
As a result, the brand’s purpose remained central to every project. Each design combined robust functionality with a clean, professional aesthetic. In turn, this reflected Combat2Coffee’s mission to deliver coffee with meaning and impact.
The build
From design to delivery, Nebrak managed every stage in-house. The team selected materials for strength, hygiene and easy maintenance, ensuring long-term performance in demanding, high-traffic environments.
Each unit was constructed and pre-fitted off-site before installation began. The team then installed every element on schedule, aligning precisely with government site access requirements. Together, these builds delivered practicality, mobility, and purpose in equal measure.
