Cafe Point partnered with Nebrak to create a high-capacity canteen refurbishment workplace refreshment space, designed for a busy manufacturing and distribution campus.
The project needed to support a 24/7 workforce, improve access to food and drink, and create a more flexible environment for rest, dining and everyday connection.
The Brief
The existing canteen and breakout areas were no longer meeting the site’s demands.
The space needed to:
- Provide 24/7 access to fresh food and grab-and-go options
- Reduce queues and pressure on staffed service
- Support varied shifts and heavy footfall
- Improve breakout, dining and wellbeing areas
- Create a durable, easy-to-maintain environment
- Improve flow across a busy workplace setting
The Solution
Nebrak delivered a multi-zone workplace refreshment environment combining a self-service micro market, breakout seating, dining areas and supporting facilities designed for a busy 24/7 operation.
The new layout included a high-capacity self-service micro market, dedicated dining areas, breakout seating, semi-private booths, PC workstations, recycling stations and carefully positioned refrigeration to improve movement throughout the space.
By bringing together self-service convenience with flexible dining and breakout areas, the project transformed an underutilised canteen into a workplace destination designed around everyday use. The completed environment now provides employees with round-the-clock access to food and refreshments while creating a more attractive, practical and engaging space for colleagues to eat, recharge and connect throughout the day.
