Prestigious Vending Awards Ceremony
The De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms was the venue for this year’s vending industry awards – The Vendies.
Leaders and guests from the UK vending sector gathered for a celebratory lunch and awards ceremony on Thursday 6 June 2022.
The recipients of the prestigious Vendies Award were determined by a two-part process whereby entries were reviewed by an independent panel of industry experts to create a shortlist which was then voted upon by professionals from the vending sector.
New Category for Vendies 2022
This year saw the introduction of a new category ‘Best Vending Project’.
Vending businesses or partnerships who had delivered innovative projects, developments or services, individually or collaboratively were invited to enter. Nebrak entered as part of the Kepak Group food-to-go and unattended retail collaboration alongside partners Coffetek, part of the Azkoyen Group and leading UK-based Automatic Coffee Machine manufacturer and 365 Retail Markets, the global leader in unattended retail technology.

Following the launch of its £111m Rustlers brand into the OOH chahttp://herennel in 2019, Kepak saw the rise in demand for Micro Markets and the potential to work with market-leading companies to offer customers a one-stop shop for food-to-go solutions. Kepak joined forces with Nebrak, Coffetek and 365 and created integrated FTG solutions for the retail and foodservice industries.
The group were shortlisted and subsequently beat off stiff competition on the night from Hot Food Snack Bar, Mars & Selecta Intelligent Vending, N-and Refurbishment Kit and SmartVend.
