We’re celebrating the addition of a new dedicated print studio at Nebrak!
We’ve experienced a growth in demand for branded vending and micro market furniture in the last few years, especially from the convenience sector. In order to meet this growing demand we’ve invested in new a print facility at our factory. The print studio is part of an ongoing expansion project.
Streamlined print production.
The new print studio has a footprint of just under 200 square metres. A bespoke mezzanine housing print machinery and design spans the spacious open-plan ground floor. The open-plan layout can now serve larger projects and volume orders more easily than before.
The mezzanine floor was designed and specified by Tom, Operations Director for Nebrak, alongside specialists Western Industrial Business Interiors. He’s likened the mezzanine construction to a giant Meccano set but says it was crucial to calculate load ability due to the weight of the print machines. It’s the perfect way to optimise space and makes for a bright open working environment.
The additional space created by the mezzanine allows for greater flexibility and more complex projects. Multiple vending furniture projects can now be branded, packaged, and loaded for delivery in one area. Newly manufactured furniture comes straight from the factory into print prep. This has streamlined the print production process two-fold.
Andy, Nebrak’s Principle Print Technician says ‘The investment in the new facility means it is so much easier to work on several projects at a time. Throughput has more than doubled and print application is a dream. The addition of a loading facility direct from print has streamlined the manufacturing and delivery process too. It’s pleasing to see your work get packaged and loaded for delivery in front of you.’
